Global brand/product IDs and names | PCM Addition in Event Tracker

Problem Statement

In current PCM tracker, many standard attributes are utilized and displayed as per their text value coming from the hiearchy tables.

Each of those entries usually comes as a combination of KEY : DESCRIPTION, where the key always remains the same, but the description can be amended over time.

Purpose of this change is to make sure we bring both Key and Description for those attributes and that the description are alwyas reflective of the last description in the hiearchy

For the brand we will need to bring:

• Global Reporting Product (desc present, missing key)
• Sub Brand / Label Name (desc present, missing key)

UDH table to refer to is PGSUDH_DL_PROD.PGSUDH_CDM.MDG_MATERIAL_ATTRIBUTE or 

PGSUDH_DL_PROD.PGSUDH_CDM.GLOBAL_BRAND_HIERARCHY

Acceptance Criteria

• Key and description are treated as separate fields
• Key fields are loaded in main tracker but hidden by default
• Desc fields are loaded in the main tracker and shown by default
• All those fields are reported appropriately in both Excel reports and Tableau databases
• the check for lastest description is performed as part of daily MD run to always reflect the latest description. it applies to all records in the repository, even the past due ones
• A data check is performed on all PCM records to make sure that for a single key, there is only one single value displayed

Other naming to correct

• PCM "Brand" field is to be renamed to "GLobal Reporting Product"
• PCM "Brand Group" field is to be renamed "Sub Business Unit"
