Description
The access_usr table contains all the Supply IQ users that have been assigned a BSL / PPL role….but they may not be BSL/PPL in reality, they have just been assigned this role to gain specific credentials to the system….and let’s be honest, we may not be doing a great job in maintaining this list by removing old users or changing them from one profile to another.
If I querry that table today, I will find 122 active BSL/PPLs…which is a bit far from reality
In reality the count is around:
- 34 BSLs
- 31 PPLs
So if we feed the drop downs from usr table instead of master data table, we will throw a whole heap of non valid records that users wil question.
I am not fussed with the naming convention we decide to use in the front end (with or without coma)…but I’d recommend to still make that change to use the NTID as base from the master data table (source of correct BSL and PPLs)
